I recently stayed at the charming Hotel Du Lion D'Or in the heart of the village. The hotel, with its 9 rooms, has a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The newly renovated rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The lovely French-speaking lady at the reception made us feel very welcome. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and the decor was beautiful. The owner was incredibly helpful and even went the extra mile to reserve a table for us at a local restaurant. The hotel's central location allowed easy access to everything in town. Additionally, the hotel had a gorgeous pool and lounging area, providing a picturesque view of the river. On top of it all, the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Charolles. the attention to detail in the decoration was impressive. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the view from my bedroom window overlooking the river was stunning. Secondly, the hotel's location right in the town center was perfect for exploring the area. Lastly, the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was a great way to start the day.

The pool was nice but crowded. the view from the bedroom window was beautiful with the river close by. the staff was friendly and accommodating, but sometimes hard to find. We enjoyed the breakfast and location.

The room was small and overpriced. the bathroom was tiny and outdated.

The owners were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the center of town and next to the river. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Despite not having air conditioning, the rooms stayed cool and comfortable. The breakfast served was delicious and a great way to start the day.

It's located right in the town centre with safe parking available. The staff, especially the owner, were beyond friendly and helpful. They even booked us a table at a local restaurant. The breakfast had lots of choices and the whole place was perfectly clean.

The location was quite central to town which made it easy to walk around and explore the area. The breakfast had a lot of choices to choose from and some of the dishes were quite delicious.

The room was too small for my liking and quite expensive for what we got. Sadly, there were no hairdryers or waste bin liners available in the rooms which was quite inconvenient.
